What is Hooked?
An 18+ Visual Novel set in the early 2000s, about three girls trying to make their way into the adult entertainment industry! They meet you, a clueless fisherman, who has no idea about his potential.
The three main girls in the visual novel are:
- Helen (the goth girl)
- Hannah (the mean girl)
- Max (the nerd)
Get to know the girls closely, and make fun naughty videos with them! It's a comedic, lighthearted and goofy story filled with lewd stuff!
Where do I get Hooked?
Get the first two chapters free right here! As new chapters roll out, I will be making more of the older chapters free.
There are currently four chapters on patreon, available on the 5USD tier!
Chapter five is currently in development.
How do I install Hooked?
PC: Unzip the folder, run hooked.exe, and you're ready to go!
Android: A bit more complicated, but look up any guide on how to install an apk and you'll be golden!
Mac: Extract the zip file and run the file that pops out! Make sure you allow programs without trusted authors in your security settings.
When will I be able to buy the full Game?
I am planning on releasing the game on Steam and Itch once it's complete, or close to complete. It's still too early to tell when that will be.

Everything about it is genuinely phenomenal.
The Character Designs, The CHARACTERS (i love helen sm), THE ANIMATION! OH MY WORD THE ANIMATION! The dialogue is so much fun, while also having really nice intimate feeling moments, and the whole thing is just exactly what I want in a NSFW Visual Novel.

This game is peak.
The animations are one of the best I've seen. they are so fluid and it doesn't crash your PC.
The story is very entertaining and I like it that sometimes the Characters do a more deeptalk.
The Art and the Character design is I think THE best i have ever seen.
I've played it a wile ago, when you could only play the fist episode on the free verson and since then i have been waiting for the following updates.

Looks great!, anims are clean af, the story is definitely.. interesting, not my usual interest but is drawing in, couldve make the main char a bit smarter tho tbh, keep up the great job, defo will buy when its finished!

i do have a question tho, will you make a dedicated discord server to send development updates/announcements or will they only be posted in select sites just like itch/patreon?

I have a discord server with a public channel for updates/tweets/etc. At the moment I'm not sharing the invite everywhere, cause I'm a little scared of flooding the discord. But I will probably have a discord link somewhere in the game, or on the game's pages (itch, steam) at some point once I feel ready.

will this masterpiece be playable on mobile iOS? I really love this series and would love to be able to use this on my phone instead of having to look up video gameplay on it, as they usually have bad commentary, and take like 10-15s per dialogue
Atm I'm not sure how viable it is. It's a lot of extra work releasing on iOS, and iOS support is still a work in progress for the renpy platform. I do have hopes of releasing it on iOS some day though
An iOS version is definitely doable, but there are some technical hurdles.
Ren’Py (the engine the game uses) doesn’t offer full native support for iOS yet—it requires a Mac, a developer license (100$/year), and some pretty careful tinkering in Xcode to get everything working smoothly. Plus, Apple has strict UI and content guidelines, so even if the game runs well, it’s a whole other beast getting it approved for the AppStore. Also, things like app size limits and asset compatibility can make mobile optimization a bit time-consuming. Just might take some extra time and patience.

Yeah, the Mac and the developer license is what's stopping me at the moment... Most likely if I evern am to do it, I'll involve someone else who can help me with it.
Then there's the whole Apple store thing. I've got no hopes of getting my game approved for the Apple store. Is it possible to build apps on the iOS without the AppStore? Similar to .apk with android, I mean?
yes and no! the thing is from a dev perspective u can install apps from outside the AppStore (
.ipaiOS app archive) using a Mac for 7 days or permanently using a dev license similar to android.But normal users will need to jailbreak there iPhones to do that which stopes updates, increase risk and vulnerabilities if they’re not careful what they’re installing.
The only hope is Alternative Stores which do similar job by auto-refreshing the install of the
.ipafile every 7 days, and need to be installed on iPhones via a PC/Mac using the giving installer from the AltStore website.Simply amazing. A perfect mix of lewds, laughs, and all-around lovable characters. It's almost like watching a 2000s sitcom, except it grew up to be just as nerdy and perverted as us. The graphic and animation quality are insane. I don't have anything against HS/KK, but the animations tend to get repetitive when they're in every single game. Here, everything is unique and feels personal.
But the real kicker- the perfect goth gf has abs?!? 💀🖤 I couldn't possibly feel more catered to in this lifetime. Thank you for the experience thus far and I can't wait to see the rest of it!

sooo this Game kinda got me hooked in wanting to make a VN with Blender myself..did you make this game entirely in Blender or did you need other software for stuff like Rigging presets for facial expressions and gestures etc. if it's ok to ask?

Yeah, but when chapter five comes around on Patreon, you'll have to pay $5USD again, and when chapter six comes around you'll have to pay one more time. And so on. I prefer staying itch.io, where you only pay once.
I feel that, like we aren’t asking itchio to be on the same updated schedule as Patreon but at least put the game on here for us it makes no sense and it’s just greedy
I am releasing older chapters for free on itch. There will be more free chapters in the future. I get that you want to purchase the game, and I appreciate that, but there is no need to be rude. Once the game is complete, it will be available for purchase on Steam and Itch.
exactly, rn its only a work in progress and you DONT need to pay to get the game, you can wait, its only optional if you want the newest and theres also free to know if you will even like the game.

Wasn't trying to be rude, so I do take back my comment on the "greedy", I am just worried because there are so many GREAT projects out there and its get ruined by the Patreon money, I've seen devs promise an update for 4 years straight and nothing (I won't point out names) that's the only reason why I said my comment. I was only trying to give good criticism, not hate.

You are referring to "blenderknight.hooked.program(...).apk"? .apk files are for android phones. I see I have forgotten to mark it as an android file. If you want to play on PC, you need the "Hooked-0.2.0-pc.zip" file and nothing more!

It stands out among the games I think are good enough to keep. I keep remembering how fun it was overall, characters and such.
In a way I also like how they are all just starting out and tried to appear like pros in the beginning
Played through the demo and i have to say your work is amazing. The story is fun to follow. The “action” is well done, and the ladies are all compelling and unique characters. Any chance you can say the name of the music that plays while our hero and Hannah are in the dressing room? That music choice turns what could otherwise be seen as just a quickie in the dressing room into something more tender for lack of a better word. Gives you the feeling that our hero cares for her and doesn't just want to blast her and be done. Again, top quality on all aspects of this game.

This is a real masterpiece, you can tell at a glance the amount of love and care put into it. Amazing visuals, lovable characters and a "hooking" story. I'll gladly keep tabs on where this game goes next!

Curious people said in a reddit and discord your done making your game or taking a long break so now chapter 5 for along time. Is that true? Cause ill be honest your game is not only well made and very well animated and the naughty parts are great. Granted it be awesome to have a cum animation. To see the wetness fly lol. Anyways i was on your patreon, and I i'm gonna sign up for your uh, biggest rank. I was curious, this is a stupid question. Are you going to make a rank above that that has better stuff? Because if all the stuff I listed above could be done and you can make a tear that's higher purchased. I would purchase it. I could spend around five hundred a month on your game. All the characters are so fun and their interactions are so entertaining i would buy this game even without any porn in it. Jonathan's link is as good as my advice would be, essentially. I've been using Blender for about 10 years now, give or take. Any tutorials I'd recommend would have been outdated for years. Just google "Blender beginner tutorial" and find something that catches your eye! And only do the tutorials you think look fun, cause if it's not fun then it's hard to get through.

I think I will enjoy this really much, despite how weirdly shy he can be at times, it never feels completely weird.
Also hearing chapter 5 is already in the works makes me wish I could simply buy it here Early access or something.
I can't pay it on steam but I would happily try to accept a key once I payed it here if that is an option. I mean I prefer having the games there and they also seem to slightly push the GB to different places (i can't really explain that in english to well).
I just don't like the patreon model so I would maybe hope to have a price here, an version that keeps getting updates and possibly a key included there to try and get it on steam too.
Maybe I need it as a gift not sure what currently works. Germany and I believe another country are still weird there.
